Helpful Information...

Who books me?
Couples who book me often do so as:
-
They want a speaker who is engaging and unique, making their ceremony stand out.
-
A Registry Office wedding isn't enough for this special moment. They want to celebrate with a separate, additional ceremony and honour God on their wedding day. They want an experienced Pastor involved.
-
They want a Christian wedding ceremony, but not done in a cold, religious way. They want it to be relevant, warm and to connect with people.
-
They want an international flavour and want someone who can authentically bring this. I come from Scotland and have studied, worked and lived abroad - and still do!
-
They want someone who can speak in either German or English, or use both languages.
-
They are from an English-speaking country, marrying abroad and want someone from, or who connects well with, their culture to lead their wedding ceremony.
-
They have seen me in action or I have been recommended by those who have.
-
Wedding Planners and / or others involved in weddings (Musicians, Singers, Venue Managers etc.) recommend me.
-
They wish to renew their wedding vows and want to mark this moment in a special way.

My services...
-
A free initial 1-hour introductory, non-binding meeting.
-
If we decide to progress, then two further 1.5 hour long meetings to organise the ceremony.
-
On-going communication between us throughout the planning stage.
-
Advice and input on all aspects of the wedding ceremony such as elements to include and consider, running order, timings, others to involve etc.
-
Advice, explanation and discussion around the marriage vows and general tone of the ceremony.
-
Diligent preparation of bespoke content for your wedding ceremony, including a Pastor's Message to be shared as part of proceedings.
-
Leading the ceremony on the day in a competent and professional manner.
Please note:
I only lead wedding ceremonies for couples who are already legally married (Registry Office). I speak at and lead a separate, additional ceremony that marks what is already legally in place but what is usually considered by most couples as their 'real' wedding ceremony.

Booking Process & Fee

Fill out and send the Contact Form found on this website.

If there is the potential to take things forward, I would organise an initial 1-hour complimentary introductory meeting. This would normally be via a digital platform such as Zoom, WhatsApp, FaceTime etc. This first meeting is non-binding and simply lets us get a feel for whether we are the right "fit" for each other.
-
If we feel we are, then I will provide you with a personalised quote (see info on 'Fee' below).
-
If all agreeable, we would both sign my standard contract to formally engage my services. At this point a Booking Deposit would also be due.
